Pleasant Valley And City Of Beacon

I heard Pleasant Valley 56-69 call Out Of Service en-route to City Of Beacon. Now I know City of Beacon got hit hard big time with trees and wires and collapsed buildings. I am just curious are they going to assist in the clean up? Are they using more man power from other departments?? I was just wounder I know their Tanker was there for 2 days.

Pleasant Valley had a tanker M/A to Beacon in order to ensure a water supply in case of fires. There was quite a bit of snow, closed roads, and visible hydrants were scarce. Great idea to have that ready to go, and bravo to all those who were down there.

Majority of the hydrants were inaccessible for the first few days. Any fire during that time would have been a major problem.

Its a typical congested city with buildings and houses built close to each other.
