This will affect the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, St Patricks Day Parade, etc. And only save 3.1 million. Wonder what kind of revenue these parades bring to NYC?

NEW YORK — New York City cutbacks could mean less of the world-famous balloons and floats at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

It shouldn't have much of an affect on income. The parade will still go on. A few less groups flying into town and renting hotels doesn't compare to the thousands who come to NYC for the the holiday.
