Journal News Looking To Feature Local Heroes-Submit Your Nominees

We at The Journal News, www.lohud.com, serving Westchester, Putnam and

Rockland counties in New York really appreciate your site, not to mention

your work!

What you may not know about us is that every Sunday we have a column, "Local

Hero", about people who are nominated by their co-workers, neighbors or

others for their good work, career choices of helping others, charity,

heroic action etc.

We actually run seven such heros every week in our Express sections for

Rockland, Putnam, Northern Westchester and Westchester's Review Press, Sound

Shore, White Plains and Yorktown & Cortlandt papers.

You folks don't get enough recognition and I would like to invite you to

nominate co-workers, or anyone else, whose,for example, tenacity and

consistent reliability and community involvement make them a standout. The

individual must be willing to be interviewed and have his/her picture taken.
