Las Vegas/Laughlin Photos

2 weeks ago I took a short trip to the Las Vegas valley and Laughlin. While I was there I was able to get a few photos to add to my albums..

First, North Las Vegas FD Engine 50, Engine 52 and Truck 52

When we left Vegas to head to Laughlin we got stuck in traffic due to a collision. Henderson FD was nice enough to drive past on their way...

When we got to our hotel/casino in Laughlin, as I was going back to the car after registering I heard sirens. Clark County Engine 76 and Rescue 76 (non-transport ambulance) and AMR pulled in...

the next morning, an elderly driver drove his car through the front door of the Edgewater casino across the street from mine. I was able to get some rig photos, and a couple of long distance shots as casino security was limiting access (especially if they saw a camera)...

and a few more from the Laughlin area. If you're not familiar, Laughlin and Bullhead City are on opposite sides of the Colorado River, with the state line running down the middle of the river...

Fort Mohave Mesa, a department south of Bullhead City, was covering from Laughlin's main station...

I'm new to the site and live in the Vegas Valley. Here are some of my photos of area apparatus.

Another look at Fort Mojave Mesa Arizona's 2007 Pierce 1500/750 Pumper that runs from their main station across the Colorado River from Laughlin,Nevada. This pumper was a Pierce Demonstrator that the department purchased.

Bullhead City runs two of these 2009 Spartan/Central/Rosenbauer 1500/400/75ft Quints. This will be first in Ladder company to Laughlin since Clark County Fire dispanded the Tower at their Laughlin station last year

Clark County Fire Truck 17 runs this 2005 Pierce 1500/300/100ft Tower. Love those black rims !!

Got lucky with the Las Vegas Fire Department. We had stopped at a couple of LVFD's stations, then proceeded to the main station. While there, one of their civilian employees in the medical office was retiring. AS every unit with the LVFD is ALS, they were rotating units in to say goodbye....JACKPOT for us photographers....since every rig of each type is almost identical, I'll only post a few....those of you who are into Code 3 Collectibles may recognize the first photo...
