WEST ASHEVILLE — A retired firefighter who mows lawns to augment his pension is in line for a whopping lifestyle change.

Frank Griffin, 66, struck it big this weekend, winning Saturday's $141.4 million Powerball lottery drawing. Griffin opted for the single, lump sum payout, which means he'll pocket about $47 million after taxes.
