Thanks for the info!

KME is sure getting a lot of contacts across the country! They definetly have come a long way in quality, and I'm sure OFD's will be another great delivery.

The E-One tower should be awesome. The outriggers are perfect for the tight Ossining streets.

Was there ever any discussion of moving the KME to Snowden and putting the tower in town?

That rumor went around awhile ago. We speced the new rig to fit in the Central Avenue Quarters (as tight as it is <_< ).

I will try to post the schematic over the weekend.

Good luck on the new rigs,I'm sure they will both be geat....But I'm sad that the days of seeing two sticks to the roof in a hot hurring in Ossining are drawing to a close. <_<

E99 looks good.

The boy's came back from E-One last week with minor changes such as paint color (Dupont L6572) which is a darker red,

also change the strip to 4" Scotchlite gold with 1" reflective white on each side all the lettering will be the same

scotchlite gold with a black outline.

It looks pretty good, Steve. How many seats?

Last i remember, but correct me if im wrong, it was going to be a 8 person cab.

Even though I live in Winter Park (Orlando), my family owns a thoroughbred farm in Ocala and I pass the E-One plant several times a month.

Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to the Ossining Fire Department between apparatus committee trips to Ocala.

Best Regards

Although the chassis is the XLFD (KME's largest) which can accommodate ten seats, the Committee has always speced it for seven seats.

The outriggers are perfect for the tight Ossining streets.

The picture I see shows two seperate outriggers on each side of the apparatus. How is that better than just one? My concern is that you need 2 separate openings between cars to place the outriggers. I'm not familiar with E-One towers do the outriggers have to be out on both sides or is there a shortjacking option?

Nice looking apparatus designs. Good luck to Ossining FD; I lived there in the 1970s and always have had an affinity for the area.

Both Mohegan and Ossining should be getting their KME's delivered around the same time as Mohegan was at KME on 1/29 for our pre-construction meeting. Best of luck!
