Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (see general instructions and information)

Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.

Special Requirements:

Possession of an appropriate level New York State driver’s license, which must be

maintained throughout employment.

Possession of a New York State certificate as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) at time of appointment and must obtain NYS certification as an on-line ALS (Advanced Life Support) at a critical care or higher level within 2 years of appointment. Certificate must be maintained throughout employment.
