Briarcliff FD new Crossband Repeater

4 posts in this topic

As of 2000hrs last night (2-25-05) BMFD's new repeaters are up and on the air!!

The frequency's are as follows:

Crossband link to 46.26 - 460.1125 (dpl 243)

Fire Operations - 453.2000 (pl 71.9)

EMS Operations - 462.950 (pl 71.9)

The Crossband and fire ops are NARROWBAND so they may sound a little low over a scanner.

This has been a ongoing project for about the last 2 years and we are very happy and excited to have everything up and running. The next step is to train everyone in the department on how to use the system properly, once that is accomplished, the only thing that will be heard from briarcliff on 46.26 will be our tones and the inital dispatch. We will still use 46.26 for comms with 60 and mutual aid departments.
