Did anyone catch "Howe & Howe Tech" on the Discovery Channel last night? (Reruns airing this week-check local listings)

Follow the family business of identical twin brothers, Mike and Geoff Howe, as they design and build the coolest machines you've ever seen: from high-speed military tanks to supercharged subterranean rovers. In each episode the tumultuous twins will push the limits of innovation by building a new, ingenious, and often insane machine. Working with their wives, who also happen to be sisters, and their loyal shop crew, the Howe brothers put everything they have into their inventions. No idea is "too crazy" or "too half-baked" to try, but the success or failure of each invention could make or break their small shop on the verge of huge success.

They fabricate armored vehicles for military and law enforcement and mining use. In the first episode, they were building a prototype to their "Badger" vehicle, a mini-armored tank that can fit thru a house with an officer inside the tank. It also showed it undergoing explosives and ballistic testing. Pretty cool show so far.

BADGER GOES BOOM - Premieres Tuesday, January 5 at 10 pm E/P

The twins' ultra-mini tank - the Badger - secures a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for "Smallest All-Terrain Armored Vehicle." The recognition inspires them to beef-up the Badger's armor so they can market the tank to SWAT teams and bomb squads. As a reward for completing the Badger, Mike and Geoff will treat the shop crew to a survival trip in the woods. After a long, hard weekend of work, H&H finishes the Badger just in time to test its armor. But will their new design stand up against high caliber guns and deadly amounts of TNT?
