"SEATTLE -- A Pierce County sheriff's deputy wounded in a shootout during a domestic disturbance last week has died.

Kent Mundell was taken off life support Monday afternoon at Harborview Medical Center, officials said. He was 44.

Mundell's death marks the sixth area law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in two months"
