Description Of Incident:Delmar Fire ,EMS,PD responded to a reported explosion & fire.

Serious bodily injuries were suffered by one patient who was pulled from burning structure and airlifted to Westchester Hospital. Unknown chemical fire w/smaller explosions. Albany County HazMat response requested and responded to the scene. Hot/Cold safety zones and an

LZ for the helicopter were also undertaken. Exsposure protection w/LDH and master streams

operating. Incident under investigation by Bethlehem PD & ATF due to rocket fuel and unknown other chemicals involved with the incident.

This fire was reported on CBS 6 News in Albany. They reported that the victim's hand was blown off in the explosion. They also stated that two paramedics and two police officers were treated for minor smoke inhalation from rescuing the victim.
