Where on the Hudson did you see this boat?

The JFK Marina Yonkers. It's the YFD's new boat purchased with grant money. The YPD has one in the works too, I don't think it was delivered yet. The details of the specs will follow.

Yonkers has its western border on a very busy waterway. Both the PD and FD have good reason to want response capability there. And both services have saved both lives and property on the water in recent history...

I remember seeing the pictures of the old boat. What ever happened to it? I know Rye lost their fire boat and was looking for one.

I believe this boat will be stored on a trailer at station 8 and deployed with the crew of engine 8 when needed.

The boat in the pic above does not stay in the Hudson river. It can be deployed year round when needed. The other boat is Marine 1 and stays docked in the river during the summer months only as far as I know.

Very nice looking unit! I'd like to know more of the specs if they're available. Looks good with a pair of monitor nozzles and well protected outboards.

Does it have a tow bit?

Pump Capacity?

Who's the builder?

Ect. Ect.

What Whaler model? Outrage?

Looks outfitted well, nice job on the Forward Looking Infrared.

Best of luck with the new rig.

Chief, and all this time I thought it was there to get the NRFD Harbor Units panties in a twist. I keep telling them we were using it as a base for specs. LOL. Hope You and Family are well.
