Description Of Incident:Upon arrival E 7 Officer nothing showing up front.

Per E 1 Officer smoke showing from the rear 10th fl.transmitt "Signal 30",

Per BC 8 Hi - Rise fire transmitt the 2nd Alarm at 0704hrs: E 11,T 4,R 2,BC 7

will respond,E 4 to re - locate Brevator St Quarters. Hi - rise packs and standpipes

are being employed for a smokey fire on the 10th fl of the building,"All Hands"

are employed w/evacuation of fire floor & fighting the fire at this time. Per E 7 Officer main body of fire knocked down, positive pressure ventilation needed for heavy smoke

throughout the buiding. Per (IC)at 0740hrs fire under control, overhaul will start after AFD Invs. takes pictures. Frequency was dedeicated.

Due to shift change 1st alarm companies will make relief

shortly.
