Washington County, NY on 46.26

I am hearing on a pretty regular basis Washington County, NY (Upstate)

coming over 46.26 here in Westchester County.

Often it's loud and clear.

I did a FCC search and found that Washington County does also operate on 46.26

Anyone else hearing this?

no but last year when i was up visiting SUNY Delhi i had my pager and it was clearly picking up Delaware county but it is a different frequency

Yes yesterday while monitoring 46.26 I heard it. Cambridge FD and several others , and dispatch was loud and clear.

I can hear them loud and clear on a regular basis... Yesterday 2071 (Washington Version) had a fire and I could hear everything loud and clear.

Not to get off topic but don't any of the departments / dispatch centers run PLs / DPLs on the low band?

I have been hearing Washington County on the scanner at my house since I got my BCT-15. I do live at the top of a hill but it's not that high. It's funny because I listen to Washington/Warren/Saratoga Counties on line at www.scanamerica.us at work because my mom lives in Warren County. They must have some powerful transmitters on a good hilltop.

When I am working up at 60 Control we always hear them loud and clear come over 46.26. Sometimes we mistakenly answer them thinking its a Westchester unit in the field! WOOOPS.
