Clicking on a topic title on the home page in the Recent Topics section, takes you to the first entry in a post.

I believe this should be changed to take you to the most recent post. I find it can be a nuisance especially if there are multiple pages in a thread.

What does everyone else think? Comments? Suggestions?

I think I would prefer to go to the first UNREAD post, if you are always directed to the first post it makes it very hard to follow a discussion and know where it left off.

Can it be made so that if you have viewed the topic it goes to most recent and if you have not it will take you to first post entry?

UPDATE:

For the meantime, Seth has modified the Recent Topics forum set up to take the reader to the most recent post.

If you wish to navigate to the page first topic post, click on the ^Top button in the lower left corner of the post, or drag the scroll bar.
