Ceiling Collapse In Pelham

Just heard Pelham FD toned out for a Ceiling Collapse at the Colonial School in Pelham, with possibly 2 people trapped. They have requested Rescue 4 and th Collaspe Unit from New Rochelle FD to respond on this.

315 Highbrook Avenue, Pelham (Colonial School) - Additional Tone Out for Additional Manpower. JUST ASKED FOR MOUNT VERNON FD's RESCUE and NRFD Ladder Company 12 (curious why YFD Collaspe Unit and Squad 11 isn't also asked to respond as Mutual Aide?)

Just to clarify, although it was initially reported as a "ceiling collapse" it was certainly not a ceiling. What collapsed was actually an entire roof section of a one story brick and steel section of the school which was under demolition. The entire roof section pancaked with 2 workers on it who were buried under the collapsing parapet walls. Both workers suffered major trauma injuries and one is critical in a coma on a respirator. Hopefully he will survive. The photo on LoHud shows the scene.
