New Patrol cars for the USA

There is a good chance that Australian GM plants could be supplying new Caprice patrol cars to the USA, see link for pictures...

This would be a huge boost to jobs in Oz and they are a great car.

Hopefully if the FCV PI does go under Carbon Motors will expedite the production of the E7. The FCV has come a long way since the mid 90's when the Caprice ceased production but, the Carbon Motors E7 is supposedly going to be priced competively with the FCV. IF that is the case I can't see how PD's couldn't go with them as a replacement.

The Carbon Motor cars look pretty crazy. Totally made for POLICE. Although expensive, when it is time to get rid of them the company takes them back for half the price that the Dept paid for them. Essentially like a rebate I guess. Wish we could get just one!
