Mount Vernon Rescue 1

I've been out of the loop, and I know many things have changed. Does MVFD still operate Rescue 1 as a full time company? If so, how is it staffed?

Also, if it is a 24/7 company, what do they run as a spare since the old rescue was given away?

FDMV Rescue 1 (2006 E-One/Saulsbury) is a 24/7 manned rig within the Mount Vernon FD. It is manned with a 3 man crew. I am not sure what FDMV uses as a "Spare" when the Front Line Rig (Pictured Below) is out of service (Could be the Mack CF Spare Engine). Maybe someone within FDMV could answer the question regarding what they use when the Front Line Rig is OOS.

With the 3rd truck in service I think it has been changed up a bit staffing wise.

Don't be happy R-1 is not what it used to be it is only a driver and an officer and does NOTHING Police ESU has taken over the calls what was once the pride of FDMV. Lets see if this new chief gets the calls back and restores the pride
