It's with deep sadness that Garrison Volunteer Fire Company announce that our beloved Brother, Past President and Captain of the Company's Fire Police team has passed away on September 15, 2009

He was dedicated and passionate member of our department,he was proud to be a member and always there to lend a hand for any event.

Memorial services for Donald Lefari will be at Clintons Funeral Home in Cold Spring and will be at 11:45 Friday the 18th. Please meet at Garrison Station 2, 1616 Route 9 in Garrison at 11AM. All those that attend please be in full dress uniform

On behalf of GVFC thanks to all those who attended from both Putnam and Westchester departments. Don was a friend and a brother to us all. Always there and willing to help in any way. We should have more people like him and this would be a better world.
