What counts as a run in the yearly stats? Are EMS included in those or are they seperate?

Runs count as every call taken in. The real way to see how busy a company is to look at the OSW's. You can take in all the runs you want, but at the end of the year in my book, its the OSW's that count.

Occupied Structural Work, in other words fires.

OSW's can be deceiving, though. A food on the stove is considered and OSW.

are EMS CFR runs included? becuase when I add up the numbers of OSWs and EMS, it excedes the total number of runs...????

check your math, there may have been a miscalculation there on someones part.
