With the Eighth anniversary of 9/11/01 having just passed I am asking for your opinion on this question, should I post photos taken at Ground Zero here on EMTBravo? I took the photos on 9/15/01 and 9/16/01 after working and then going down to the pile to dig on my own time. The photos were taken with disposable cameras and developed at Shoprite. I rarely look at them, but I did recently notice the pictures are starting to become gray/fade. The pictures are mostly of the devastation on the area and some of destroyed/damaged apparatus. I am going to scan them into my computer to save them and thought about posting them here. What is everyones's opinion on the subject? The earliest I would be able to post them would be in a week or two.

Grumpyff-while I can't comment regarding whether you should post or not, a suggestion: check with either a local drug store or place like walmart as to whether they'll put your negatives to D. You state the photos are starting to fade, putting the negatives to CD will maintain the appropriate colors for the image...

Thanks for the tip. I will have to check and see if all the negatives are still in the album. More than likely the negatives are missing.
