Ramapo's first Hasidic cop files bias claim

Ramapo's first ultra-Orthodox Jewish police officer has filed a federal labor complaint accusing the town and some fellow officers of discriminating against her because of her religious beliefs.

Ramapo's town attorney yesterday denied some of Officer Baile J. Glauber's contentions in the complaint filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. An EEOC complaint is usually a precursor to a federal civil rights lawsuit.
