Brewster Land Search 8/20/09?

This morning Ball Pond got toned out to cover for Putnam Lake, who was operating at a land search in Brewster, probably for a missing person, anyone have any more info? Did they find the missing person?

As of noon today the search was still going on. They are looking for a 16 yr old male with a 6 yr old mentality. He has been missing since saturday. There a large group of people out today from many different Putnam agencys involved.

Patterson and Croton Falls both did pretty much an all day standby for Brewster

He was locked up. He had a weapon on him which caused him to get arrested and he also had a detainer warrant issued against him by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement b/c they think he is hear illegally

That's an unusual way for these situations to end.

Is the part about him having the mentality of a six year old true? Personally I find it hard to believe since he gave the police a false name and DOB.

Maybe before they deport the little SOB they should make him and his Uncle wash and clean all the vehicles from every department that was involved in looking for him.

A great example of why it is so important to check hospitals, morgue, and jail during a missing person case.
