Units Operating: full FDNY 10-60 second alarm assignment with special call for additional Marine Units, along with NYPDm USCG, and various other agencies.

Description Of Incident: mid-air collision involving a helicopter and small aircraft. Reported to be no survivors.

@ 11:54 hours: L5 and Marine 1 Alpha reporting a verbal for a possible helicopter in the water at West St and Christopher St

@ 11:56 hours: Marine 1A reports confirmed aircraft in the water

@ 12:00 hours: Marine 1A reports transporting 1 10-37 code 1 (Deceased Victim) back to Pier 40. 10-60 (Major Emergency) transmitted.

@ 12:02 hours: Marine 1A reports two confirmed aircraft in the water. Debris field begins at approx. W42 st between NY and NJ closer to NJ.

As per news reports, aircraft took of from Teeterboro and experienced engine problems before colliding with the helicopter. Believed to be 9 victims total, 3 have been recovered.
