Off-duty cops tackle would-be jumper on TZ

Two off-duty Tarrytown police officers traveling home across the Tappan Zee

Bridge prevented a man from jumping off the span tonight, authorities said.

The officers, Gregory Budnar and Chris Caoili, were driving in seperate cars

on the Rockland-bound side of the bridge just before midnight when they saw

a vehicle pull over and a man get out.
