Those are some nice birds..where they training or working a actual fire?

The first lot are the choppers relocating from one airbase to another on a bad fire day (we have 5 main bases and when one area has worse fire weather than another we move the aircraft around.

The second pic with the water is working a fire.

For info we run the following...

2 x air observing helicopters

3 x air observing fixed wing planes

7 x fixed wing bombing aircraft

3 x medium water bombing helicopters

1 x heavy erickson aircrane water bombing helicopter

We have others available from the contractor at short notice if required.
