Special thanks to Chief Fitzpatrick and the awesome guys at Squad 11 for setting this up shoot for me!

I was very impressed with this rig, and especially all the equipment that's found on it. The specification of this was well thought out, and the price was unbeliably lower then I thought! A great value! Hopefully Chief Fitzpatrick or someone can chime in and help me out, but it's got just about everything you need for a collapse, including a PTO compressor powerful enough to power a jackhammer, complete with air hose reel. Also has a light tower, awning on both sides of the rig, compartments on top, tons of shoring devices, victim location tools, light tower, wood, saws, etc etc etc.....and it is designed to be self sufficient for a collapse.

One question - does it have on board electrical to power electric tools - like a hydraulic or diesel generator? Just wondering because I know sometimes you're working in areas that are remote from an electric outlet.

Very well designed rig.

I really like the on-board compound sliding miter saw...custom-made specialty cribbing, on the spot. Nice.

The saw location was planned from the beginning - but when we went to the factory for final inspection realized the rollout shelf was to low to operate the saw safely/comfortably - Hackney fabricated the raised shelf on the spot - also creating a storage space under the saw for a few tools, tape measure etc. also the saw can be removed quicky and set up on the DeWalt saw stand away from the truck. The saw is plugged in and ready to cut upon arrival -

I can't stress enough the value of a pre-construction trip to the factory to work with their engineers on site/ Also during final inspection have the factory mount as much of the equipment as possible. For the final inspection we drove down with a pickup and brought the saw, stanley power unit, airshores among a few other things - it was no coincidence everything fit perfectly it was all coordinated with the factory from beginning to end.

That is one well thought out rig. It looks like it's not trying to do too many things at once, is well equipped, versatile and will be one heck of a workhorse. Good luck and many years of safe and dependable service to your crew and the new rig.
