Connecticut Officer Struck With Car Twice

FAIRFIELD, Conn. --

A man is accused of hitting a Fairfield officer twice before leading police on a short pursuit and hitting a pedestrian.

Police said a patrolling officer noticed the manager of the Fairfield Motor Inn attempting to wake a driver of a white Volkswagen Passat that was parked on the motel's front lawn.
