Seminar to cover cancer in workplaces

Support Connection will hold a free seminar for anyone living with cancer, "Cancer and the Workplace: Issues, Questions and Rights," from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 22. The seminar is open to anyone living with cancer.

The presentation will address employment-related issues and questions for anyone who has faced cancer.

Topics will include how to speak to your employer or co-workers about your diagnosis; employee rights; and tips on résumé writing and interviewing.

The seminar will be at the Somers Public Library, Route 139, and reservations are required by calling 914-962-6402.
