1505hrs-Hillburn FD with Stony Point & Thiells FD's AMA for Divers, dispatched to above location for a truck into the water with people trapped.

1518hrs-44-Control dispatching Rockland County Haz-Mat Team to the scene.

1520hrs-44-Control contacting 18-Rescue; 18-1 inquiring how many divers are en-route. 18-Rescue advising (4) divers. 18-1 advising divers to be dressed and ready, swift water rescue now needed.

*LoHud.com reporting that this was a garbage truck that veered off the road while exiting the NYS Thruway. The truck then went down an embankment and into the Ramapo River. The driver, a 44-year-old male, was reported to be DOA.
