I'm looking for information different shift schedules from different departments. Also if anyone has the basic layout of FDNY's schedule, could you please post it. I tried to seach this on the site but have not been successful to find it.

We run 24/72 in Nova Scotia

24 / 72 in new rochelle 0800-0800 "can't" work more than 24 hrs in a row

24/48 here in the Myrtle Beach SC area

We work a 24/48 with kelly's. Every 8th shift is a shift off and every 64th shift we get 2 shifts off.

FDNY runs 9 hour days and 15 hour nights. Work 2 day tours off 2 days, then 2 nights and off 3 days.

Three 10hr days then off for three. Three 14hr nights then off for three. Kelly days are also used.

Thanks everyone for the replies. We used to work 24s/72s. Now we are 2 day, 2 nights, 4 off with 10 hour days and 14 hour overnights.
