Description Of Incident: Water Rescue

1920hrs-Verplanck FD/EMS dispatched to the Quarry (caller from 9th St.) for a water rescue, reported "child" in the water.

1922hrs-60-Control updating all units, victim reportedly out of the water in cardiac arrest. Car 2493 requesting E128 & 83B1 to respond, E128 to assist in gaining entry through a gate.

1933hrs-Car 2493 advising DOA, State Police on scene handling, advising the ME for response.

1948hrs-39M1 clear from Verplanck.

2009hrs-Car 2493 advising 83B1 has been released, holding E128.

*This is an abandoned quarry on Con Edison property that is a popular swimming spot for area youths.
