Sullivan County Torando Warning

The NWS has issued a torando warning for Sullivan County until 15:45.

Wow......did they happen to say in what part of Sullivan this was happening? When I left work (Kohl's in Wurtsboro) at 3:30, everything was fine. Now, if I'd heard this involving a time frame near the beginning of my shift, it wouldn't have surprised me in the least! On and off rain, almost monsoon-like at times, and more than a little lightning.....would have made much more sense for something like that.

Unless, of course, it's just another case of "watch" and "warning" getting mixed up again.

Who cares, I know that both Orange and Sullivan have had significant tornado's in the past as well as just bad weather events in general.
