The sale of the Hummer brand to a Chinese company will not impact the production of U.S. military vehicles. Military Humvees are produced by a different company, privately held AM General, based in South Bend, Ind.

The HMMWV military version has always been separate from Hummer since producing the "civilian" model Hummers so it should not be any worry. Besides they do not make the H-1 civilian model anymore for quites some time.

As for selling Hummer (GM) off to the Chinese, well its the sign of the times and we stil keep selling our companies overseas. What does that tell you?
