Explosion in Rockland 5/23/09?

I am at my friend house in Montrose and at about 1120, I hear a distant siren across the river. 5 minutes I hear a loud explosion from the ame place. After that I hear another siren. Anyone know if something big blew up?

I thought I might have heard a explosion last night as well at my house here in croton, it sounded like across the river. Maybe it was nothing??????
