Thursday, June 4, 2009- On Thursday May 5, 2009 at 13:42 Hawthorne and Valhalla were dispatched to 462 Lakeview Dr. in Valhalla for a workingshed fire up aganist a structure. Units operating 2481, TL49, Res, 9, E83, E84, 2191, L56, Elmsford Fast Team, Pocantico Hills Tanker, Thornwood FD, Briarcliff Manor Cascade & TL on standby, North White Plains on Standby, MPPD, West Cnty Batt.11, West. Cnty C&O Team, 60 Control (Dispatchers), 37Medic1 Con Ed Emerg. Supervior.

Size up of building is a 20' X 40' metal garage with two small wood sheds that are connected to the side of the building.

2191 on location reporting to 60 control there is smoke coming from the structure. 2481requesting thier 10-75 plan and also requestin a tanker from Pocantico Hills due to very limited water in the area. Crews fom forced entry into the gated area and then forced entry in the sheds, and also stretched a 1.75 handline. Once inside the shed the fire was knocked down and the items which were on fire were removed. The garage area was then checked with the TIC for extension and nothing was found. C&O was requested to the scene for investigation. Once the scene was placed under control all units were placed back in service.
