Mohegan -Working Fire 12-25-03

Anyone know anything about Mohegans job today. Heard them between 1230 & 0100HRS. Manpower requesting L-35 charge the line, L-35 requesting the hydrant to be opened. Problem ensued with pressure, 2nd ENG requested to respond and hit a hydrant, then request was cancelled. Car 2261 had command requesting Con Ed gas and electric as well as Westchester County C&O to the scene.

I'm sure someone will have a post on this, hopefully CG206 or at least 1 of Mohegans Bravest. I was just curious, i heard some radio talk, but never got an address or exact disposition.

Around 12:15-12:30 Mohegan responded to Sherman Ct off Morris La, of Lexington Ave (Yorktown) for Unknown Type fire. 2261 and L-35 arrived to find smoke showing. 1 line charged from L-35 to basemant area and Eng. 250 hit hydrant. Fire knocked down quickly, checking for extension. Con Edison and C&O Team requested to scene. Apparatus List: L-35, Eng. 250, 2261, 2266, Mohegan Ambulance 69B?, C & O Vehicle 1404. Being there it was a small apartment fire nocked down by 1 13/4 handline. 700 ft of 5inch was layed into the scene by eng 250 and fed ladder 35 fire was nocked down in less than five minutes execelent knock down by the boys we were onscene while cause and origin conducted there investigation and while we removed smoke from the residence. the apartment was located in the rear of the home one of two apartments there at the address no extension into the main house or the other apartment just smoke

units assigned were 2261,2266 Engine 250 Ladder 35 69B2 FM 52 FM 53
