Anyone know if they are going to have ems at the woodstock festival like 1994? If so will they take out of state medics/emts? Who do you contact for the info. Thanks in advance.

There were rumors of a big event but doesn't look like anything big is going to happen. Frankly the last two (Saugerties and Rome respectively in 1994 and 1999 were small scale disasters). There reportedly IS a reunion concert to be held in August at Bethel Woods, but doubt it will be anywhere near as big as the original. In fact it will likely be limited to the number of people able to fit into the Bethel Woods Center. EMS for events at Bethel Woods are likely subcontracted out to a local vendor as any gathering over (I believe it is) 5000 people must have EMS coverage according to state law.

The 2009 Woodstock event is barely planned. It is going to be an epic fail like 94 and 99. I want this to work about as much as the hippie who was there in 69 and still thinks jerry is still alive but i am not optimistic at all.

If it goes thru and they actually have the event with a few major acts then i will be there. It is a perfect excuse to come north or east or south or west to see the 40th anniversary if they can actually do it that is.

I will be there if it does......
