Route 22 Closure from South Quaker Hill Rd to the County Line?

Didn't see an incident alert so figured I'd inquire here. Saw route 22 was closed tonight (23:30) and was wondering whats up. Detour was quite a drive over Quaker Hill. I'm guessing some sort of MVA due to the extreme fog (visibility of less than 100' at times).

Pawling was dispatched for Fire Police to shut down Route 22 at the County Line and then redispatched for Emergancy Lighting and Portable Lighting for a search at the accident scene.

One killed, 2 hurt 3-car wreck in Patterson

PATTERSON - One person was killed last night and another was critically injured in a three-car accident on a wet and foggy stretch of Route 22. The driver of a Honda CRV, whose identity was unavailable, was ejected and killed in the crash, which happened about 8:30 p.m.

Road was reopened about 01:00 after NYSP Accident Reconstruction Team finished working the scene.

The deceased is a retired NYPD MOS and father of 3. RIP
