New Hamburg Structure Fire 66 Main St. 4-27-09

New Hamburg Fire District was dispatch for smoke coming from a house @ 09:12hrs on April 27, 2009. a minute after the dispatch the arrival of Car 1 (53-1) reported Heavy smoke showing. and advise County (DC911) for a 2nd Alarm. The first crew to enter the house found Heavy smoke and fire in the Kitchen and hallway area venting out of the rear of the building. The crew did a agressive attack and had the fire under control in just a few minutes. New Hamburg was Assited by Arlington, Wappingers, Hughsonville and Village of Fishkill Fire Departments.

The World Famous "PhotoUnit" was on scene and for once WE got him in a photo.

Making sure Dad's OK...... Adam Renihan pictured with his Dad - New Hamburg Past Chief Jeff Renihan stopped by with Mom to make sure Dad was OK after operating as part of the interior crew that knocked down the fire.....

"Like a good neighbor - State Farm was there"....... The homeowners insurance agent showed up in this thing...... I hope he has good comprehensive coverage..... If he gets hit, he's going to need it..........
