Body found after Spring Valley apartment fire

SPRING VALLEY-Rockland firefighters found a body in a Fletcher Road apartment after extinguishing a fire there.

Authorities were called to the scene at around 6:40 p.m. today for a possible kitchen fire. Spring Valley along with half a dozen other fire departments responded finding a well-involved fire in a second floor apartment, said Spring Valley firefighter Bob Schultz.
