Pelham cop who saved would-be jumper: 'I didn't think twice'

PELHAM - A New Rochelle woman dangling off the lip of a pedestrian bridge over the Hutchinson River Parkway last night made it clear she wanted to die - even after a Pelham police officer pulled her to safety with her 5-year-old son looking on.

"As it was happening, I didn't think twice about it," Officer Jason Pallett said this morning.
