Sag Harbor NY: Firematic Supply 4x4 International

25 posts in this topic

I had these in our roadtrip thread but thought they should be a stand alone thread, this was a nice rig, first one that Firematic Supply in Shirley NY delivered of this type. It has a front mount Hale 1250 pump, 500 gallon booster tank, International 7400 series 4 door 4x4 chassis,

Foam Pro system with a 50 gallon foam cell. Whelen LED light package, 1600 of 5" LDH, Warn 9.5 portable winch with front and rear receivers and also has the super single rear wheel conversion.

Holy Front Scene Lights Batman!

Great Pictures Mark. The front pump panel is an interesting setup, never seen one like that before. I also like the irons partner storage, I've always seen them stored seperately.

Wow, that is quite the truck. The front mount pump is an interesting setup as well. Just a note about the winch, if you have one in your dept, PLEASE PLEASE drill with it a few times before you actually need it.

Very nice looking truck. The front mount pump is nicely done. The only thing is the truck is so high that the light bar is hidden. In most of the pictures you can't see it at all. I like the use of the steps as compartments. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it is a front mounted pump.

The Sag Harbour crew should be proud of this rig for sure, their committee did an outstanding job.

We visited Sag Harbour after we were at the Firematic location, the builders of Sag Harbours and our B.R.A.T. I must say they build an awesome vehicle, the work ethic and attention to even the smallest detail were spot on. According to the manager they are up to 12 deliveries a year. Approximate delivery time is 100 days after the reciept of the chassis. The building crew is 4 guys, yes 4. They all assisted us with the many questions and design ideas wthout a hitch. The Sag Harbour rig is one of the nicest I have seen in along time. We took a ride and sat in the back and went through a smaller area along the beach with very narrow streets and this rig made it through all the tight places.

One thing I forgot to add is that they are adding a portable hydraulic combi-type tool to the rig to be placed in the empty area in the driver's side rear compartment.

I second that! In baseball, they suspend you for 50 days if you look like that! :P

That's a nice rig!!! It's definitely an evolution on the front mounted pump design a la Put Lake's 23-2-5..

Great looking rig and nobody thought to take care of the halligans? One of them is all rusted the other still has the paint on it. Who is the proby? The new guys need to be taught to take care of the tools and have pride in their equipment.
