For those of you who don't want to be bothered loading a large PDF, some LP12s equipped with biphasic technology have had problems after being software upgraded where the energy level settings that might have been set by the user in the past (200-300-360 for instance) are reset back to 125joules with no indication to the user other than the monitor showing the lower energy level just prior to shocking. Make sure you check your monitors to be sure the energy scale is properly set. If you don't know how to access the user settings or can't because a passcode is set, consult your supervisor or physio control service representative.
