Description Of Incident: New Milford, Northville, and Gaylordsville units responded on automatic mutual aid to the fire in NM first due for the reported Structure fire near Chimney Point Rd. First arriving units found fully involved structure with fire through the roof, car in the driveway, and the homeowner unaccounted for. Multiple lines stretched and operated. Brookfield and Bridgewater were contacted for tankers and personnel, and Bridgewater also stood by at NM Fire HQ. The heavy fire conditions made any sort of interior attack or search impossible. After defensive operations, overhaul was began when the victim was found. CSP was notified, and their fire marshal and CSU arrived on scene to work on the investigation with the NM town Fire Marshal's office. NM Ambulance stood by on scene for the duration of the operations.
