0100hrs- YPD reporting water main break at Nepp. and Elm with water from cracks in the street.

0105hrs- YPD units also reporting water conditions from underground at Palisade X Elm and Main St. X Warburton Ave

0125hrs- E-303, L-71, B-1 operating at flooding conditions in the basements of stores in Getty Sq. area after receiving activated fire alarms. St. Joes Hospital reporting no water.

0130hrs- Verizon representative reporting a severe flooding condition in the basement of Verizon building at 40 Main St. Nursing home on St. Casimir Pl also without water. YFD communications are reduced due to failure of main repeater.

0135hrs- E-303 responding with pump to 40 Main St. E-306 operating at flooding condtions on Nepperhan Ave.

0140hrs- YPD reporting phone lines to 2nd, 3rd and 4th PCTs are down. Verizon reporting outages throughout city. Yonkers Water Dept. reporting possible multiple main breaks. Water pressure loss in Nodine Hill area and many blocks west and south without water.

0600hrs- Verizon reporting that water levels in basement are increasing. YFD responding with additional pumps.

0630hrs- Verizon notifying YPD that phone service to entire city could be lost at any time. YPD also advising that radio communications may also be lost.

0700hrs- All YPD late tour officers held over indefinately. ESU adding additional ESU trucks at 1st PCT.

1000hrs- All Early Tour (3/4pm-11/12am) YPD officers to report to respective commands. ESU adding additional Truck until further notice.

1100hrs- Conditions remain unchanged.

1238hrs- YFD with ongoing communication problems. Reducing response to activated fire alarms to engine, truck and bat.

1800hrs- Verizon reporting 6,000- 7,000 customers without service.
