Northwest Greenwich residents will likely have to wait at least another year for the town to ante up the money for a proposed King Street fire station.

The Board of Estimate and Taxation's Budget Committee unanimously recommended Tuesday cutting $175,000 for the design of the new station in the 2009-10 fiscal year, saying it wanted to see a comprehensive deployment plan from the Fire Department before the town commits to additional staffing. ...
