I am also searching for a contact to a high rise unit in NY, i am working in a high rise unit too. Only our buildings are not so high ;-)

Call the Manhattan dispatchers and ask to be connected to Engine 3 or Engine 39. High Rise 1 is in with E-3 and High Rise 2 is in with Engine 39.

FDNY Runs two "Hi-Rise units" they are staffed by Engines and respond when needed with both rigs. The Hi-Rise units are big tool boxes with power equipment, chargers for all sorts of stuff and things to run a hi-rise fire.

There are also the Hi-Pressure Engines which are designed for Hi-Rise Fires.
