Great video. I've worked EMS in NY City for many years. From 1980-1985 I worked in the Bronx for the NYC-EMS and since then have worked in Manhattan for the private hospital 911 EMS. I would recommend any new EMT's or Paramedics that are looking for lots of experience and call volume to work in NYC. I'm pretty sure that FDNY-EMS has a 25 year retirement, decent benefits and pay too. The private hospital 911 EMS pay & benefits are good too.

Great video. I agree with nymedic37 if you are new and looking for experience NYC is the place to be. Worked the old st34 (ENY) 5 yrs and went to BX (st23) for a yr. Joe Fortes still looks the same. We were partners while at Jacobi. Still trying to get the wife to move back from the backwards south. To all keep up the great work we do.
