I would check the island. Queens just lost 10 Voluntary 911 units with the closure of MIH and St. Johns... Looks like the swimming pool got a lot smaller overnight for the per-diem world. Look into North Shore-LIJ, they run both 911 trucks and txp units. I'm not too familiar with the island but a lot of the privates run 911 for some towns and villages. Emergency Ambulance Services in Nassau does, I believe...
